COVID-19 Health & Safety Program
  1. Slot Guidelines
  2. Worldwide Slot Guidelines

The number one priority for Odawa Casinos is to keep our team members, the community and guests safe. We are continuing to monitor the recommendations of local health officials, the CDC and Indian Health Service (IHS) as it relates to COVID-19. Extensive planning has gone into opening the doors again and we look forward to your return!

Emergency Order

The guidelines, posted late Friday on the control board’s website, include a seven-page document for nonrestricted licensees and a four-page notice for restricted licencees — those with 15 or fewer. Position Papers The Worldwide Airport Slot Guidelines (WASG), provide the industry with a single set of guidelines for airport slot management and allocation. The slot planning process is the essential back bone to allow the industry to plan operations to the world’s most congested airports, avoiding what would otherwise be chaos. As public aquatic venues open in some areas, CDC offers the following considerations for the safety of those who operate, manage, and use public pools, hot tubs, and water playgrounds. A slot limit is a tool used by fisheries managers to regulate the size of fish that can legally be harvested from particular bodies of water. Usually set by state fish and game departments, the protected slot limit prohibits the harvest of fish where the lengths, measured from the snout to the end of the tail, fall within the protected interval.

On Sunday, November 15th the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services issued a new emergency order. This does NOT include Tribal casinos. We will remain open during this emergency order and continue to follow CDC guidelines. Please continue checking our website and Facebook page for COVID updates.
